Crisis Cleanup
Crisis Cleanup connects disaster recovery organizations with the people who need help. Crisis Cleanup implements a “Craigslist” philosophy to recovery efforts– organizations that are aware of work orders enter them into the system, and organizations with capacity to help can claim and perform the work. This approach minimizes duplication and maximizes communication, coordination, and efficiency.
While entering a client into Crisis Cleanup does not guarantee that he or she will be served, it guarantees visibility and maximizes the chances for assistance, while helping relief organizations prioritize their limited resources.
Crisis Cleanup has been used by 40,000+ volunteers from 230+ organizations to help 10,000+ families in 14 states and 15 disasters in 4 countries.
One person from each stake registers. After the stake is approved, they log in and invite ALL team leaders and workers in the stake. If you are a stake recovery leader and your stake has not requested access, sign up here. See the training video. To maximize the effectiveness of the system and assist as many people as possible, access to Crisis Cleanup should NOT be limited to a handful of people per stake. Notwithstanding, to safeguard the confidentiality of the information, do not invite unauthorized individuals nor shared with other organizations.
